The staff at this guesthouse were incredibly friendly and made our family feel right at home. The delicious food, especially the fish curry and packed lunch for our safari, exceeded our expectations. The location was ideal for exploring Wilpattu National Park, and we loved exploring the nearby lake at sunset and spotting various wildlife. The spacious and clean rooms, complete with hot showers and air conditioning, provided the perfect retreat after a day of adventure.

For dads, it would be great to have some more outdoor activities for the kids.

I recently stayed at Wilpattu Dolosmahe for a few days during my visit to Wilpattu Park. The location of the property was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the park entrance. The nearby lake was a great spot to observe wildlife and birds. The host, Susil, was extremely accommodating and helped us organize a last-minute safari, which turned out to be an amazing experience thanks to Sudesh, our driver and spotter. The beds were comfortable and the mosquito nets provided added peace of mind. The in-house food was delicious and plentiful, ensuring we never went hungry.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel near the park entrance. The location was perfect, as it was not far from the beautiful lake where I saw a wild elephant in the distance. The hotel facilities were simple but clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay perfect and the breakfast they provided was delicious.

The location of this place is absolutely perfect, especially if you're planning to explore the nearby national park. You can literally see the gates from the guesthouse! The staff were extremely helpful in organizing our full day safari, including breakfast and lunch. They even arranged accommodation for our driver for two nights. the rooftop terrace offers a great view and the wifi worked most of the time.

To our stay. the facility only accepted cash and didn't have credit card facilities, which was a bit inconvenient.

my second stay at dolosmahe was even better than the first! the owner, susil, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great valentine's day. the family-run guesthouse is conveniently located near the park entrance, and susil arranged a fantastic safari for us. the homemade meals were delicious and gluten-free options were available.

We had a fantastic stay at Dolosmahe in Wilpattu. The staff were incredibly helpful and arranged a safari for us. The food, especially the authentic Sri Lankan dishes, was delicious. The room, although basic, had all the necessary amenities and was clean and comfortable. The best part was the location, as we were just a minute's walk away from the national park gates. We also loved the roof terrace, which offered a stunning view of the night sky.

We had an amazing experience at Wilpattu Dolosmahe! The location of the property was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the entrance of Wilpattu Park. We were able to observe the wildlife and birds by the beautiful lake next to the entrance. The host, Susil, was incredibly accommodating and organized a full day safari for us on short notice. His brother, Sudesh, our driver, was fantastic and thanks to his expertise, we were lucky enough to see a leopard. The beds were comfortable with mosquito nets, and the in-house food was delicious and plentiful. we had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this property.
